Get Ready to Party!

My sister needed a card for a friend’s daughter’s birthday.  I wanted to do something a little different.  I decided to use my colored pencils on kraft paper.

I turned to my Stamping Bella stamps for this card.  I used Uptown Girl Farrah Loves Flashdance and colored her up using my Prismacolor colored pencils.

After coloring Farrah, I decided I needed something a little more on the card.  I love those chicks from Stamping Bella, so decided to incorporate them into my card.  You know you have to be in good shape to party, so what better chicks to grace the card than the Sweaty Chicks!  LOL!

Instead of stamping my sentiment on the card or popping it up, I decided to have it “recessed” into my card.  I created the sentiment on my computer, and then die cut the frame from my kraft paper.  I of course had to add some Nuvo Drops to the card.  I used Blue Lagoon Glitter Drops and Pink Champagne Glitter Drops.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card!  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting!
