Gordon Golfer

Yep, another masculine birthday card!  Once again I turned to Art Impressions for my stamp.

I again used my Copic markers as I seem to be able to color the image a little faster with Copics.  I stamped my image using a lighter color so that I could use the “no line” technique on this image.

After cutting my image out using My Favorite Things Double Stitched Rectangle Stax, I layered some patterned paper and placed my image on top.

I wanted a sentiment to have a “golf” theme as this was a golf image (and a card for a golfer), so I generated the “Fore” from my computer.  After cutting it out, I added some foam tape to the back to pop it up.  The “Your Birthday” sentiment is from two different stamp sets that I combined to get the sentiment that I wanted.  I also used foam tape to pop that image up.

I didn’t have any “golf” balls, so created them using Nuvo Oyster Grey Crystal Drops to create the appearance of some golf balls.  I added some Ripened Pumpkin Gloss Nuvo Drops for some added interest.

Hope you enjoyed the card!  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting!
