Christmas Bug…and Not an Illness!

I love this new stamp from Stamping Bella!  When we were growing up, we had a Bug for a short period of time.  With seven of us kids, it was a little small if we wanted to go somewhere!  LOL!  We were kind of like the tree.  LOL!

Christmas Bug is a fun stamp to color!  It was one that I colored in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge with my Copics, and will probably color again but maybe with my Prismacolor or Polychromo colored pencils.  We shall see…

After coloring the image, I cut it out using the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches die.  I cut some fun foam out slightly smaller that my image and mounted the image using Scor-Tape to adhere the image to both the fun foam and the fun foam to my card.  My background paper is from Hobby Lobby.

I used the greeting that came with the stamp and heat embossed it using Gina K Fine Detail Silver Powder.  I used the matching die to cut my sentiment out.  The image also has a matching die which I did not use for this card.

To make the ornaments sparkle I added some Clear Wink of Stella.  After adding a speck of white with my White Gel pen, I added Glossy Accents to give them a bit of shine.
