Santa Is Stuck!

Ho! Ho! Ho!  Santa is getting ready to come down the chimney!

This is another of the images that I colored during the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  The image is Santa is Stuck by Stamping Bella.

I used my Prismacolor Colored pencils to color this image.  Sorry I did not write down all of the colors I used on this one.

I used the matching die to cut the image out and then cut it again from some fun foam to pop him up.  The frame is Scalloped Frames from Pretty Pink Posh.  Unfortunately her store is temporarily closed so I can’t provide you the link to the die.  Instead of using fun foam for the frame, I die cut the frame five times out of white cardstock and then glued them together.  This makes the frame a little more sturdy.

For the background, I used Distress Inks in Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot.  I started with the lighter color towards the bottom working my way up in the sky with the darker colors.  A white gel pen was used to add the stars.

The sentiment is from the same Stamping Bella stamp set.  I used VersaMark ink and Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder from Gina K for the sentiment and then the matching die to the sentiment to cut it out.

Well, I need to get back to card making!  I never have enough cards made!

Thanks for stopping by!
