Here is another image from Stamping Bella that I colored during the 30 Day Coloring Challenge and have turned into a card. This one is Snowman with a Chick on Top. Yep, another one of those little chicks.
Again I used my Copic markers to color this one and used Elaine Hughes color map as a guide, changing some of the colors for my own personal taste. I’m so glad she makes these color maps for most of the Stamping Bella images.
I found this adorable paper at Hobby Lobby for the background. I used the Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Ovals to cut out some frames. I cut the frame about 6 times and glued them together to pop the frame up.
The sentiment and frame for the sentiment is from the new Merry and Bright stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. The sentiment is stamped in Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red ink. The frame is heat embossed with Detail Silver Embossing Powder from Gina K.
I thought the frame around the Snowman needed a little something, so I turned to my Nuvo Crystal Drops – Woodland Green to add a little accent to the frame. I thought they worked well.
Well, I’m off to work on some more Christmas cards.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!

So cute – it looks like the chick is copying the snowman! Those crystal drops look good too. I think I need some of them!

Just love it, especially the way the silver embossed stamp looks like it is actually etched into the paper! 🙂
