My niece recently had a birthday. She loves to shop, so I thought this image from Stamping Bella’s Bella Version 2.0 was perfect for a birthday card for her.
My Copics want out of their case again, so I used them to color her up.
The paper I had in my stash and thought it was perfect for this image. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I used some silver embossing powder from Gina K.
I need something else on the front of the card so I used some irRESISTtible drops in white and Love Letter. I had also purchased the resent Simon Says Stamp monthly card kit and it included some Nuvo drops, Caribbean Ocean Crystal Drops. I really like them! They are so easy to use and are a little thicker than the irRESISTible drops so it was a little easier to control the size.
I had some paper that had another great sentiment perfect for the card, so I added it to the inside of the card.
One final look at the card….
Lucky niece: who wouldn’t love to receive this! I love that stamp – did you fussy cut or use a die or something else?

I used the matching die for this one! It was so easy to line up.

It looks so neat. Sometimes aligning them can be tricky!

Luckily the Stamping Bella dies are in outline form. This makes it so easy to die cut! You can line it up pretty easily. Most dies are solid, so I just use the die cut on a scrap piece of paper and then place the paper over my image to line the die up. Then I just pop the die in the opening and run it through my die cutting machine. Make lining things up sooo much easier! 🙂

You little superstar! I had one I was really struggling to line up and this way had not occurred to me. Thanks for the tip!

You are welcome. I found out by accident. LOL! I wanted to make a “shadow” if one if my dies and use some ink blending around my image that I had masked off. It hit me then that “hey by doing this I could line up those solid dies by doing this! Duh!” LOL! Now I make a template if all my solid dies and just key it with the die.
