Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary!  My daughter and son-in-law recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary so I wanted to make a special card for them.  I used Stamping Bella’s Uptown Couple Emily and Ryan under the Umbrella.

Here is what I came up with…

Anniversary Cards-18

I used my Prisma Color Colored Pencils with Gamsol to color the image.  I used several layers of color, using Gamsol to blend the colors between the layers.

I wanted to keep the card simple as I had to mail it.  I decided to pop the umbrella up to give it some dimension so I stamped a second umbrella and fussy cut it out.  The dimensional was added with some foam tape toward the bottom of the umbrella to pop it up, keeping the top of the umbrella flush with my card.  Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Ovals was used to cut the image out.

I had some small bows so I added one to the top of the umbrella.  I die cut the paper using My Favorite Things Blue Prints 3 for the background.  My paper is from Lawn Fawn, Perfectly Plaid 6 X 6 paper pack.  I used two different plaids on the background.

The sentiment is from Avery Elle, Sentimental, which I embossed with Ranger’s Platinum Embossing Powder.
