Happy 1st Birthday to my Grandson!
Of course, I had to make a special card for that special little boy! I decided to use two stamp sets from Stamping Bella’s Stuffies collection to create a birthday party. I also used one of the “extras” to add more grass to the front of the Birthday Boy.
Here is what I came up with…
Of course I used my Copics to color this scene. I added a little more detail with my Polychromo Pencils to sharpen some of the details.

I added some glossy accents to the noses of the bears, the beak of the owl, and the nose of the mouse. Using the number “1” from My Favorite Things Stitched Numbers, I cut out six “1”s and glued them together to create the raised “1”.
I used the sentiment from Sanford the Birthday Boy Stuffies and heat embossed it. I added some fun foam to the back of my scene to pop it up from the background paper. Thomas was added with a blue glitter pen from Gelly Roll.
One last look…
Happy 1st Birthday Thomas!

So so cute Nancee! Gorgeous coloring! Do you have polychromo and prismacolor pencils? I gave my 130 collection of Prismas to one of our granddaughters. She loves them but they drove me nuts! I am tempted by the polychromo!

Thanks Pam! I have both the Prismas and Polychromo sets. I had the Prismas first and have pretty good luck with them. I have had some that just keep breaking when I sharpen them and was getting frustrated with that. I purchased the Polychromos and have not had a problem with breakage at all. I am able to get a very nice point in them. They go in pretty smooth and blend very well. I still use my Prismas but usually as fill ins for colors. I saw a video on YouTube where she compared them and how she blends them. She uses a small paint brush and her favorite blending solution between layers. I found that this works so much better than the paper stump. Hope this helps! I do love the Polychromos! 🙂
