Two of my great nieces were born eleven days apart two years ago.  They are both such cuties, and I felt that they deserved special cards….

Kitty and Mousie Celebrate a Birthday  from Stamping Bella  was perfect.  I love the sentiment included with the stamp as it allows you to enter a name right in the sentiment.  Adding their names to the banner was my twist on adding their name to the sentiment.  I used my white Uniball pen for the lettering.

I used Tiny Spaced Hearts stencil from Simon Says Stamp to create my own background paper.  On the darker purple paper, I used White Dye Ink from Hero Arts and on the lighter paper I used Thistle Dye Ink from Simon Says Stamp.  I cut out the image using one of my favorite dies, Small Stitched Rectangles by Lawn Fawn.  I added some fun foam to the back of the image before I attached it to the top of the other papers to give the card some dimension.

A few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for some sparkle and my blue sparkle Jelly Roll pen for the poles holding the banners and the card was complete.

Two special cards for two special little girls.
