Nice to SEE you Petunia!

I’m loving these stamps from Stamping Bella!  This one is named Nice to SEE you Petunia.  What a great stamp.  She comes with a sentiment…”Just to let you know.  I miss you”…but I wanted to create something with a little different twist.

Here is what I came up with…..

A close up of Petunia…

I used my Copic markers to color the images.  I have been using Copics for about 2 years now but have found that the Hex Chart from Sandy Allnock has helped me tremendously in choosing my colors.  I highly recommend it!  I’ve listed the colors I used at the bottom of this post.  My Wink of Stella clear pen gave the glasses a little sparkle.  For the smaller birds I used some glitter Jelly Roll pens to give them a spot of sparkle too.  Glossy Accents were added to the glasses.  The frame die cut is from Lawn Fawn, Stitched Rectangles

Another look…..

To make the background piece, I used one of the Borderlines Trios from Mama Elephant.  I used the same die on all sides.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I took the smallest die from the Stitched Rectangles set to cut the sentiment out.  It wasn’t quite small enough, so I cut it a second time, adjusting the sides to make them even.  I did the same thing for the gray background piece.  I also added some pop dots to the back of the sentiments to pop them up a bit.  I added a few some sequins from Pretty Post Pink to finish it off.

One final look….

Thanks for stopping by!
